The Venhill Universal Dual Throttle Cable Kit is a high-quality, "build-your-own" cable kit suitable for generally any motorcycle throttle application with a "push-pull" style, two cable throttle.
This is a practical, durable kit for building your own throttle cables for a custom chopper, a unique classic, a show project, or a vintage race bike.
The conduit is spiral wound steel covered with tough black PVC.
The inner liner is Teflon™ for smooth action and zero maintenance.
The wire is galvanized steel for long life and easy soldering.
The ends of the inner wires are fitted with a carb nipple (nominally 3mm dia x 3mm). The opposite end will need to be cut to length and the required nipple soldered into place. The ferrules and adjusters are a snug fit. They may be bonded into place if preferred, or you can use a center punch to make a small indention in the side. You will need a basic soldering kit and basic soldering skills to solder the nipple into place.
The throttle kit includes:
- 2 x 1.35 meters (4.4 feet) of 6mm OD black PVC coated, spiral wound, Teflon lined outer conduit
- 2 x 1.35 meters (4.4 feet) of 1.5mm OD galvanized steel wire (7 x 7 strand)
- 2 ferrule bends with joint nut, "Honda"
- 2 ferrule bends, zinc coated
- 2 ferrules, 5mm OD nose
- 2 ferrules, 6.5mm OD nose
- 2 6mm x 1.25 x 32mm adjusters
- 2 neoprene adjuster boots
- 1 brass barrel nipples, 6mm DIA x 10mm (2.1mm bore)
- 1 brass barrel nipples, 6mm DIA x 8mm (2.1mm bore)
- 2 solderless barrel nipples, 6mm DIA x 8mm
- 2 solderless barrel nipples, 5mm DIA x 7.5mm
